The bottom one is spot on for this assignment Jorge... you have filled the frame with engaging design using the stairwell in Aquinas Hall... I find the B and W edit to be strong and effective.
In terms of the top one, I am not a big fan of tilting the camera for it's own sake. Editing wise, we want to avoid clipped blacks and whites, but seek to create continuous tone from shadows to highlights with detail and texture in both.
